The society of Illustrators of Los Angeles members and their friends joined Keith Batcheller in plein air painting at Griffith Park on June 27. Pencil to painting, sketchbook to canvas ! The morning started with a plein air demo presentation by Keith Batcheller. Open to sketching, pastels, or a medium of your choice. Everyone who attended had a chance do a work of art in their own style and medium. We then had a picnic lunch under the trees. I was a fun experience for all and a nice way to kick off the summer !
